| Rose Tyler was born on April 27, 1987 to Pete and Jackie Tyler in London. She had a normal childhood growing up albeit in a single parent home after her father died. Rose hated school and left before taking her A-levels, moving in with her boyfriend Jimmy Stone. As the inevitable happened, Rose and her twenty year old musician boyfriend broke up which had her returning to her mom's, heartbroken and broke. Rose eventually got a job at Henrik's as a shop girl, her life returning to normal. Until she turned nineteen that is. When Rose turned nineteen, she started a day like any other. Getting up, riding the bus, working an hourly job for low wages, meeting her boyfriend Mickey for lunch and finishing up her day. This day was different though. The security guard caught her before she left, handing her the lottery money for Wilson. That wasn't an unusual occurrence, it was what came after that was. She heard a sound and Rose being Rose went to investigate. At first she thought it was a prank. Wilson or someone else making it seem like the mannequins were alive. It wasn't. They were Autons and a strange man appeared behind her, taking her hand and told her to run. The strange man was The Doctor, a Time Lord, a Gallifreyan. Rose helped him in ridding the world of the Autons and with that first adventure he asked her to join him. At first she declined, feeling that she needed to stay with her mom and Mickey. That is until The Doctor mentioned time travel. She could essentially travel anywhere and anytime with him. It was too big of a temptation to pass up and she jumped at the chance. Rose Tyler became the companion to The Doctor's Ninth regeneration. Together they went on many adventures, seeing the end of the Earth, going back to various time periods including witnessing her father's death and World War 2. She also encountered many different alien races but the one that held personal attention to Rose were the Daleks. Because of them she became 'Bad Wolf'. Bad Wolf is a temporal paradox and Rose temporarily became possessed by it when she, The Doctor and Jack fought the Daleks from trying to destroy Earth. By looking into the heart of the TARDIS, absorbing it to save the Doctor. As the Bad Wolf, Rose brought Jack Harkness back to life allowing him to no longer be able to die. He was immortal now. It soon became too much for her. Absorbing the vortex was going to destroy her cells, and the Ninth Doctor sacrificed himself by absorbed it from her. This act forced his regeneration into the Tenth incarnation of The Doctor. Rose and the newly incarnated Tenth Doctor continued their adventures traveling through space and time including an alternate version of Earth where her father Pete did not die when she was a baby. This time, it was Rose that sacrificed herself to save the planet. She hadn't meant to. In fact, she thought that she was going to stay with the Doctor forever. In the battle of Canary Wharf with the Daleks and Cyberman, Rose and the Doctor executed a plan to suck the enemy into the Void. Everything was going according to plan until a lever holding the door into the Void open came unlocked. Rose pushed it back into place but she was covered in the same material that was sucking in the Daleks. It was only through good fortune that Rose's father in the alternative world arrived to catch her before she was lost forever. The door closed behind her and she was lost forever inot the reality that became known as Pete's World. She was forced to remain there until something happened to the fabric of reality. That occurrence allowed Rose to travel between worlds and realities. One of those realities was one created for Donna Noble, the latest companion to the Doctor. In this reality, Rose was able to help the Doctor and have Donna warn him about what was happening to the fabric of reality. It also allowed Rose to leave Pete's World and make her way back to 'her' world once again. Unfortunately, it was just in time to see it being invaded by Daleks. Rose meets Donna's mother and grandfather in the hopes of finding the Doctor. After some calculations, Rose is able to teleport to where the TARDIS landed, only to find herself at the opposite end of the street. The reunion didn't go as she'd hoped with the Doctor being shot at by a Dalek forcing a regeneration. This time, however, it was different. The Doctor managed to retain his tenth form, by pouring the rest of the regeneration energy after healing himself into his severed hand. This, with the help of a touch from Donna, created a new Doctor who was half human, half Time Lord. After the ultimate battle with Davros and the Daleks, fixing the role of reality, Rose had to return to her parallel world. She hadn't planned on it. She'd planned to spend the rest of her life with the Doctor. It was not to be. Ten had decided that it was too dangerous for Handy (the other Doctor) to be on the 'other' Earth as he had exterminated the Dalek race. He had committed genocide. Handy was born of fire, revenge and war much like his ninth incarnation had been. Rose had helped him become a better man through that and knew that she would be the one to help the new Doctor. Rose was reluctant at first to return to the parallel world with the new Ten but she knew he was right. In the end, Rose stayed with Handy, her mum and Pete. |
